Manually Raising Flag in Sierra Connect

Question

How do I raise a Support Needed or CARE flag on a student in Sierra Connect?

Answer

First, log in to your Sierra Connect account and click the menu at the top left of the page.

In the dropdown menu, click on Students.

On your MY STUDENTS tab, select the student you want to raise a Support Needed or CARE flag on. Then click the FLAG button.

The dropdown menu will show the Support Needed and CARE flag options.

Choose the Support Needed flag for when you have excused your classroom management resources.

Choose the CARE flag only when you want to report an student in distress or showing disruptive behavior directly to the CARE Team.

For this example, the Support Needed flag is selected.

Now put in your notes about the flag.
