How Do I Access my Sierra College Email Account?

When do I receive a Sierra College email account?

All current students receive an Outlook email account.

You will receive a "welcome" email from Sierra College after you have submitted an application through OpenCCC. It will include your username, 9-digit Student ID Number, Sierra College email address, and instructions on how to create a password. 

The welcome email will be sent to the personal email address you listed on your OpenCCC application. In most cases, an email account is generated approximately 30 minutes after the application has been submitted, but it can take up to 48 hours.

If a former student reapplies, and their old Sierra College email address is still available, it will be reactivated; otherwise, a new Sierra College email address will be generated. 

Sierra College has one official password reset tool that allows access to Sierra College logins.

How do I change or update my Sierra College Outlook email account password?

How do I check my Sierra College email?

Here are 3 options for you to access your Sierra College email:

  • Login to mySierra account and click on Check My Email in the Important Links tile
  • Login directly to Outlook using your web browser.
  • We recommend using the Outlook app on your personal device to stay updated with Sierra College communications, to include waitlist notifications and counseling appointment information sent to your Sierra College email. Login to Outlook or the Outlook app with your Sierra College email address and password.

If I'm unable to access my Sierra College email, what should I do?

If you are unable to access your Sierra College email, complete an MFA Reset form
