When do I receive a Sierra College email account?
All current students receive an Outlook email account.
You will receive a "welcome" email from Sierra College after you have submitted an application through OpenCCC. It will include your username, 9-digit Student ID Number, Sierra College email address, and instructions on how to create a password.
The welcome email will be sent to the personal email address you listed on your OpenCCC application. In most cases, an email account is generated approximately 30 minutes after the application has been submitted, but it can take up to 24 hours.
If a former student reapplies, and their old Sierra College email address is still available, it will be reactivated; otherwise, a new Sierra College email address will be generated. Sierra College has one official password reset tool that allows access to Sierra College accounts, including Outlook email.
How do I change or update my Sierra College Outlook email account password?
Once you apply to Sierra college, you will receive a "welcome" email that will include your username, Student ID Number, Sierra College email address, and instructions on how to create a password. The password reset link is also located on the mySierra login screen. Select the link to "Create/Reset Password." Any other password reset tool you may encounter will not work for Sierra College Office 365 Outlook email.

How do I check my Sierra College email inbox?
To check your inbox, login to your mySierra account and click on "Check My Email." You can also check your Sierra College email on the Sierra College mobile app.
