Request New Software

Overview

We have enterprise methods that cover users instead of the computer itself for many of our software licenses. Conversely, we also have licenses that will only pertain to devices.

Available To

Sierra College Employees.

Features

Microsoft Office Suite

To download Microsoft Office 365 on your device, please use these instructions: Download and Install Microsoft Office 365 on your computer

Camtasia and/or Snag-It

Please fill out the "Camtasia and Snag-It License Request Form." If you do not see this form listed, then you are probably viewing the public-facing Solutions site. Click "Sign in" at the top-right of the Solutions Center screen and log in with your employee credentials. Then select the "Services" tab >  "Device, Hardware, Software, and Printing Support" > "Software Requests" > "Camtasia and Snag-It License Request Form."

Adobe Creative Cloud

This is the correct request form for Adobe Creative Cloud licenses. Please click on the “Request License” button. For a list of Creative Cloud applications included in this license, please visit: https://www.adobe.com/creativecloud.html

Important Note: There may be a 24 hour delay for your new license to sync with Adobe. With your Sierra College Adobe license you can download the Creative Cloud to two devices. If you install it on a non-district device, the ITS Department cannot troubleshoot any issues you may encounter with the personal device.

Requesting "Other" Software

If you are requesting software other than those listed above, an analyst will be assigned to this request to further investigate your software needs. This will allow us to further utilize the software already purchased by the District, should it meet your computing needs.

Please note, you will be asked to provide a HECVAT and/or VPAT for any new software that should be available on the vendors website, should you have already picked out a specific software.

Getting Started

Please click on the "Request License" button to complete the form.

Adobe licenses are limited and must be requested through the ITS Service Desk. If you currently have Adobe Creative Suite 5 or 5.5 edition, you’ll need to uninstall it before installing Adobe Creative Cloud. Please see related article.
