How to Borrow a Laptop
Laptops are provided by Sierra College to support student learning and success. While supplies last, students can borrow a laptop for educational purposes only.
Laptops are loaned for the current semester, and cannot be renewed. You can submit a new request each semester. Please return a laptop early if it is no longer needed.
Eligibility Criteria
During the Fall and Spring semesters, priority access will be given to students who have the greatest financial need. Students must meet all of the following criteria during the first 3 weeks of the semester:
- Have a current FAFSA or CADAA on file with Financial Aid
- Be enrolled in 6 units or two non-credit courses
- Do not currently own or have access to a personal computer or laptop
During week 4, any remaining laptops will be loaned on a first come, first served basis, based on completion time of online request forms. This means you may still be able to borrow a laptop, even if you do not meet the priority access eligibility criteria as long as you are a Sierra College student enrolled in class(es) for the current term.
