Question

How do I receive a Sierra College Office 365 Outlook email account?

Answer

All current students and employees receive an Office 365 email account.

Employees: Once Human Resources completes the employee onboarding process, they will send the employee an email that includes the new employee's username, 9-digit Banner ID Number, Sierra College email address, and instructions on how to create a Sierra College network password. An Office 365 email account is automatically generated within approximately 30 minutes. If a former employee is rehired, and their old Sierra College email address is still available, it will be reactived; otherwise, a new email address will be generated. The email account can usually be accessed within 30 minutes after it is created. Employees must know their username and 9-digit Banner ID Number in order to create a network password. Contact  Human Resources at (916) 660-7100 if you have forgotten your username or Banner ID Number. because you will not be able to create or reset your network password without it.  If you know this information and you need assistance with the password reset tool, contact the ITS Service Desk at (916) 660-7777 or servicedesk@sierracollege.edu.
