Email Text to Instructional Faculty for Progress Survey 3

Hello, Professor,

Congratulations on making it halfway through the semester! The Progress Survey for weeks 6-11 is now available. Here is how you can help by completing this survey:
  • Give your students a mid-semester check-in
  • Start prompting students for services that might help with mid-term exams (Tutor Center), papers (Writing Center), and projects
  • Let students know how they are doing in the course - temperature check

Sierra Connect Early Alert is designed to help faculty let students know that they need additional resources to be successful in class, to call attention to attendance problems, or to refer students to helpful campus resources. You can also send students Kudos to let them know they are doing a great job in your class!

Thank you for responding to these progress surveys! Your responses will encourage students to seek the help they need and to improve their success in your course(s).

A Faculty example of raising a flag:
     1) They first email/message the student about their academic difficulty
     2) They then raise a flag to inform success specialists of the issue and mention if they have or have not contacted the
student.  This helps to inform the success specialist when they reach out to the student
