Personal Meeting Rooms in Teams

Personal meeting rooms in Teams allow you to schedule and host meetings in your own dedicated space. Here’s how to set up and use them:

Access Your Personal Meeting Room:

  1. Open Teams and click on the Calendar tab on the left.

  2. Click the Meet now button. You can change the name of your Meeting (Room) here.

Share Your Meeting Room Link:

  • Using the Get a Link to Share button, copy the meeting link and send it to participants via email or chat.

Customize Your Room:

  • After clicking on Get a Link to Share (step above), you will see a Configure meeting options link where you can set meeting options such as lobby settings, who can present, and recording preferences. The meeting options (settings) will open in a browser window outside of your Teams Calendar. See article for more info: Meeting Options and Features
