What if I no longer have access to the email address Sierra College has on file?

If you no longer have access to the personal email address we have on file, contact Enrollment Services (enrollmentservices@sierracollege.edu or (916) 660-7340) to have it updated. 

What to do with a "session expired" message?

Clear your browser cache, restart your browser, then try again. You can also try using an incognito or private browser. Instructions for clearing cache in most common browsers and device types can be found here:

"I don't know my Sierra College email address"

The correct format for student email addresses is username@student.sierracollege.edu

Employees, to include student employees, should use username@sierracollege.edu.

What if there is a password error even if the user is putting in correct one?

Manually type in your password rather than rely on what is saved in your browser/device. If you continue to get this error, reset your password using our Password Reset Tool: https://passwordreset.sierracollege.edu/

What are the password requirements?

  • Must be 15 to 32 characters
  • Include at least one uppercase and one lowercase letter
  • Include at least one number
  • Cannot contain your first name, middle name, or last name
  • Cannot be the same as one of your last 25 Passwords

What information do I need to set/reset my password?

You’ll need to use your full Sierra College e-mail address as your “User ID”. 

What if I do not know my email address?

Students: Refer to the "Welcome to Sierra" email our Enrollment Services department sent to your personal email address after you applied for admission to Sierra College.

Employees: Refer to information sent to you by Human Resources upon hiring. 

How do I contact the Administrator for my email account?

If you receive an error stating you need to contact the administrator, please email your full name and student ID number (from your personal email) to servicedesk@sierracollege.edu.
