How to Animate in PowerPoint

Windows 

Under the Animation tab and on the toolbar will be animation settings for your presentation.

Make sure you select the object you want to animate, and the toolbar will light up. 

Preview will show you how the animations will look during your presentation.

 The little arrow in the animation box will expand to more animation options.

Triggers 

Adding triggers to objects starts animations with a cue. You can make it a mouse click or bookmark it to a specific event like the start of a video or sound. 

 

Timing 

Change the duration of the animations, add a delay, and reorder the animations.

Animation Pane 

The animation pane is another way to preview, change animation order, change the animation length, and add triggers. The green boxes next to “Picture 8” can be adjusted to the length you want.
