Take Attendance in Sierra Connect (Starfish) - How To Guide


How do I take attendance in Sierra Connect?


First, log in to your Sierra Connect account and click the menu at the top left of the page.

In the dropdown menu, click on Students.

Make sure you're on the Attendance tab. You can select this tab by clicking on the word, Attendance.

Click on Record Attendance. 

Select the class you want to take attendance for and the Meeting Time, or date and time of class.

NOTE: Online attendance is not an option.

Record each student's attendance score starting from the auto-filled Present, to Absent, Excused, and Tardy

Once you have saved, you're sent back to your Sierra Connect Attendance page. You'll now notice that you can see the student's attendance history inside the attendance page.
