My Academic Plan (MAP)

My Academic Plan (MAP) is a personalized guide that you and your academic counselor create together during your first semester. Based on your educational and career interests, the MAP shows what courses you should complete, semester by semester, to meet your goals. You should meet with your counselor regularly to evaluate and update your MAP. Learn how to view your MAP in Degree Planner.

New, Returning and Transfer Students

Before you register for classes, you must make an appointment with your counselor to create your "My Academic Plan" (MAP).You will find instructions on how to book a counseling appointment at the end of your online CAP session. All students are required to complete a CAP Session. CAP will help you make educational choices based on your career goal(s) and develop your first semester MAP (My Academic Plan).
